Cover Stories Winter 2003-04 Late Breaking News Juarez, Mexico: Jose Maria Guardia, who has the Mexican concession to operate the Juarez Racetrack, plans to add live greyhound and horse racing at the track, which currently offers off-track betting and video gambling. "We have big plans for the race track. We're going to have live horse and greyhound racing once again. The machines and bingo will be back, and we're also going to offer a shuttle service to and from El Paso," Guardia said. Live horse racing began Sunday, Jan. 11. No date was announced for the
return of live dog racing, which ceased in 1989. Long-range plans include
